New NHS patient Clinic to Open in Hampshire
In a significant move to enhance wound care services locally, we are pleased to announce the launch of a new clinic in Bordon in Hampshire. This clinic will allow us to offer the choice of both home-based and practice-based services to our patients. We are aiming to show how good wound healing rates can be given the right care. Our existing team- Sally, Judy, Karen, Michelle and Liz along with our new specialist wound care HCA Michelle will be running the service.
Home-Based Services
The home-based services will be particularly beneficial for elderly patients, individuals with chronic illnesses, and those who find it challenging to travel.
Practice-Based Clinics
In addition to home-based care, the new practice-based wound care clinic will begin in March 2025. This clinic will be equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology and staffed by our wonderful experienced nursing and HCA team.
Community Impact
Local residents have expressed their support for the new clinics, highlighting the convenience and improved access to healthcare services. “This is a fantastic development for our community,” said Sue M, a local resident. “Having access to both home-based and clinic-based services means that everyone can get the care they need, when they need it, without putting more pressure on our GP practices'
Future Plans
The NHS plans to monitor the success of these clinics closely and consider expanding the model to other regions if it proves effective. This initiative represents a significant step forward in the NHS’s mission to provide high-quality, accessible healthcare for all.
