Dr. Mark Coombe
Dr. Coombe is recognized as a UK leading authority in primary care and has a specialist interest in education and assessment. His background is as a Director of Education for the Royal College of General Practice, Senior Partner and GP trainer in an innovative Hampshire practice, and involvement in creating and managing the licensing exam for UK GPs. Dr. Coombe brings a wealth of expertise to our educational offerings.
Sylvie Hampton TVN
Sylvie Hampton has over thirty plus years of involvement in wound care. For more than two decades now, she has been a Tissue Viability Consultant, gaining invaluable experience in the prevention and treatment of wounds. Sylvie's journey began as a Research and Tissue Viability Nurse at Eastbourne District General Hospital, where she spearheaded wound care and pressure ulcer prevention efforts, successfully reducing pressure ulcer incidence from 15% to an impressive 2.4%.
Sylvie not only provides hands-on care but also supports ongoing education for hospital and community staff through study days and national conferences. Sylvie has conducted numerous clinical research studies and her passion for improvement in wound care outcomes shines through all she does. The joy and that comes with healing chronic wounds is a motivation that has persisted with her for decades.
